About Les Produits du Québec
Established in 2022, Les Produits du Québec is a non-profit organization created in partnership with the government to highlight Quebecer companies' expertise and know-how. Their mission is to boost the popularity of Quebec’ products to support the local economy.
The certification mark is inspired by the well know model of Aliments du Québec. Alike Aliments du Québec, Les Produits du Québec wants their certification mark to become the standard for Quebecers who want to buy locally produced, manufactured, or designed non-food products.

The Different Types of Certification Marks
Three distinctive certification marks were developed by Les Produits du Québec to make it easier for the cunsomers to find products from Queec online and in-store.

A "Product of Québec" is a made-in-Québec product where at least 85% of the costs for materials, processing, and assembly happen in Québec. Additionally, the final significant transformation of the product must occur in Québec.
2. Manufactured in Québec
A product is considered "Manufactured in Québec" if the final significant transformation of the product takes place in Quebec.
3. Designed in Québec
A product is said "Designed in Québec" if it is a manufactured product where the design team is entirely located in Quebec.
