Warranty & Repairs

Crafted to Last

At Camillette, every piece of jewelry is thoughtfully designed and handcrafted in our Montreal studio with exceptional attention to detail. If a manufacturing defect occurs despite our high-quality standards, we will be happy to assist you in accordance with our warranty policy.

Jewelry Warranty Policy

All Camillette jewelry is covered by a one (1) year warranty from the date of purchase against manufacturing defects.

This warranty includes, but is not limited to:

  • Defective solder joints;
  • Manufacturing defects affecting clasps or jewelry components;
  • Manufacturing defects affecting the structure or normal appearance of the jewelry.

Depending on the situation, Camillette reserves the right to repair the jewelry or replace it with an equivalent item.

Permanent Jewelry Warranty

Permanent jewelry is designed to be worn continuously. However, because it does not include a clasp, it may be subjected to significant daily tension and stress.

Permanent jewelry (bracelets and necklaces) is covered by a three (3) month warranty (except for permanent jewelry anklet) from the installation date against manufacturing or soldering defects. There is no warranty on permanent jewelry anklet as they are more prone to damage due to their position on the body.

This warranty does not cover jewelry that has been stretched, snagged, cut, or damaged due to impact, excessive force, or improper use.

We offer re-welding services for permanent jewelry. After the three-month warranty period, a $20 repair fee per weld will apply.

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear;
  • The natural tarnishing of sterling silver;
  • Scratches or marks caused by everyday wear;
  • Damage caused by impact, pulling, or snagging;
  • Loss of jewelry or charm;
  • Damage caused by chemicals, cosmetics, or cleaning products;
  • Repairs or modifications performed by a third party.

Warranty Claims

All warranty claims must be accompanied by a valid proof of purchase confirming the original purchase date.

We strongly recommend keeping your receipt. Without proof of purchase, Camillette reserves the right to deny warranty coverage.

Warranty claims must be submitted within the applicable warranty period: one (1) year for regular jewelry and three (3) months for permanent jewelry.

Claims submitted after these periods are no longer eligible for warranty coverage. However, repair services may still be available depending on the nature of the jewelry, and repair fees may apply.
