The knot can be removed. However, this design is not made to remove and put back the knot. A trick to place them, gently open and twist the hoop open side-to-side. So light, you will forget you have them on! The sleepers hoops are a little harder to insert than regular posts and stoppers earrings.

We bought these earrings and love them, from an aesthetic perspective but haven't successfully put them on both ears. After much struggling we were able to put it onto 1 year, but haven't been able to get it into the second.

My hunt for the perfect gold sleeper hoops ends here! I have very sensitive ears (both allergies and general earring sensitivity) but these hoops are incredibly comfy, and I had no allergic reaction at all.
I bought size M, I sleep and shower with them in, and I actually forget I have them in most of the time! A bit tricky to put in, but I’m sure with practice it would be fine.
The little gold knots are a perfect subtle detail to help them stand out from your basic gold hoop. I’m in love! 100% would recommend.
